16/04/07 - FSK has successfully raised the £5000 required to develop and improve the playground used by the Reception classes.

We are sure you will have noticed that the old plants and shrubs have been removed to open up the space available, the shed has been moved and over the Easter holidays further work has progressed. The school is funding the resurfacing of the playground.

The £5000 raised by FSK will be used to provide additional equipment including:
- fencing to provide privacy & shelter from the wind,
- a decked area with sun shade (subject to planning permission),
- outdoor tables and benches,
- planting areas,
- a climbing wall and
- additional play equipment.

Plans for the playground are being finalised this half-term and we will publish more detailed information as soon as we can.
